Rise:
No, not ashes, emptiness.
Look at what I have become.
It rose from a thick and suffocating slime where every push-pulled.
Upon breaking free from the sludge, it emerged as a human being no more. An outline.
Its skin was shed like a sea crabs shell.
Remaining was nothing but bleached bone and long voids.
A lavender tulip. It popped up not far from itself.
Taking a nearby quilt, it wrapped its chalk white figure and plucked the nearby blossom.
Its senses were lost, but the flower glowed with a tender fury.
The tulip leaned in the direction of the other.
Then another.
And another.
It followed the purple bulbs onto a small piece of land accompanied by a cabin.
She walked amongst a field of corn, a bundle of tulips in hand.
It dragged itself to her. Through the dirt and under a white wooden fencing.
With its own bundle and a single dark brown eyeball emerging from its right eye socket. It tapped her gently and whispered, “Do you see me?”
With a smile she whispered back, “Yes.”
They melted into one another like abandoned butter during a mid-summer afternoon. They swayed for eternity among a row of dark purple fluorescence. Her dress and the creature’s quilt twisted together with the wind.
It emerged as bone, no sinew. It could be crushed under its own weight if not for the threads of the stars that hold it up like a dancing puppet.
I did not let go.
(Thank you for reading. I hope this piece is appreciated here.)

I liked this without a comment, I'm actually the worst. I am finally getting around to my reading list!
Bro, this fucks. Its like a churning nightmare. Great use of wording that painted the images in my head.
Feedback for this one would be hard. I'm not a good enough (knowledgeable enough) writer to nit pick little fundamental things, I always focus on the structure, how it made me feel, if there where things that took me out of it. The only thing maybe would be I wished the intro was drawn out just a bit more. really squelch around in the glorp.
Your writing is very good homie. keep it up.
Ooh this is great! I really like this one
