Growing up, I didn't feel like I had a voice. My words held no weight, and they often fell on deaf ears. Now, I have a voice that people listen to, and that scares me. It means every word has weight. It means that when I speak, the universe listens. Honestly, looking back, I think it always did. My voice mattered from the beginning, but it wasn't until now that I understood that.
