It took my breath away. My lungs couldn’t grasp onto anything and swept whatever I had into the clouds. It pulled on my clothes as I took off. Like it was attempting to bare my ass to the world. In a way – I was. Here and now. Looking at it all – it was small. Smaller than expected. Considering how it contained me inside of its metal walls like a maze. A trap. The city was only a tiny patch compared to the vastness of what lies beyond. Viridescent wilds unkempt and unkept by nobody but itself. I grinned and felt the wind through the gaps of my teeth. Uncleaned and full of grime. I was gone anyways. All gone. Through the power of my flight, I will be submerged back into the earth as it should be. BAM! My flight lasted twelve seconds and the estimated distance was about half a mile to the pavement below. The last thing I heard was – the air laughing in my ears. It carried me as long as it could.

This sucked me in so fast great writing again
That was so good, what a surreal moment. Well done, sir Edward. (Sometimes I wander off alone, in the cracks of Substack, bumping into others that I forget to really listen too before in all the chaos).
